What data we keep when you join the waitlist or use Varsity Zen, what for, and how to ask us to change or delete it.

What we keep
On the waitlist: your email, who you are (athlete, parent, coach or agency) and, if you give them to us, your sport and class year. Also the page and language you joined from, who invited you if you came through a link, and a hashed fingerprint of your connection used only to stop abuse. If you have an account, also the profile data you publish yourself.
What for
To tell you about the launch and let you in by list order, and to work out your spot and the spots you gain with your link. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long
Until we open and let you in, or until you ask to leave the list; after that we delete it unless you create an account.
Who with
We don't sell or hand over your data. Our technical providers (database and hosting) store it only so the service works.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, objection or portability by writing to hello@varsityzen.com. If you think we haven't handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
