Your Swimming video (highlights/skills)

Key caveat: swimming relies FAR LESS on video than most sports. The currency is verified times from sanctioned meets. Video is supplementary — it lets the coach see your technique, not replace your marks.

What a strong swimming video contains:

• Starts (off the block) clean, both above and below water.
• Turns and underwaters: especially the underwater dolphin kick off each wall — that's where the yards game is won or lost.
• Stroke technique for your main events, with above- and below-water angles.
• Full races with the scoreboard/clock visible so the time is credible.
• Short and to the point; each clip labeled (event, course, time, meet).

Essential: always add a results link (SwimCloud/SwimRankings) so the coach can verify your times. Without verifiable times, video alone won't convince.

Diving: here video DOES matter (it's judged, not timed). Film full dives from 1m, 3m and platform, showing approach, hurdle, takeoff, execution and entry, and state the difficulty of each dive.
