The Tennis CV a coach values
UTR rules: the ranking systems, the real recruiting metrics, and approximate division benchmarks.
Coaches don't recruit your raw record; they recruit your UTR (Universal Tennis Rating, ~1.0–16.5) — the near-universal comparator they check before the video. Create/claim a free MyUTR profile and make sure all your results feed in. Other systems: Tennis Recruiting Network (stars/Blue Chip, mostly US), ITF Junior ranking (key for Europeans, Grade 1–5 events), national federation ranking, and any ATP/WTA point (a strong signal for top D1).
The coach looks at: UTR, quality of wins (beating known-UTR opponents matters more than your record), ranking/stars or ITF + national ranking (internationals), marquee-event results, and singles AND doubles (the dual-match format rewards doubles).
Approximate UTR benchmarks, re-verify each cycle:

*Women's thresholds run ~1.5–2.5 points lower and are less firmly established — check with your source. On the CV: verified UTR, ITF/national ranking, recent results with opponent UTR, singles+doubles, and your club coach's contact.
