The Lacrosse CV a coach values
Lacrosse has no stopwatch marks: evaluation is by position, film and live events. Your CV must prove level with ranking, position and verifiable results.
Coaches don't recruit times or standardized marks (it isn't track or swimming): lacrosse is judged by position + film + live event + game IQ. Treat any specific number as program-dependent and re-verify it.
Ranking/validation systems coaches track as prestige:
- Inside Lacrosse (IL) — Power 100 and position rankings (boys); Nike/ILWomen Power 100 (girls).
- IMLCARecruits.org — official men's recruiting platform (750+ coaches, 35,000+ athletes; film tied to rosters).
- IWLCA — sanctions the events women's coaches evaluate at.
- SportsRecruits / NCSA — profile and video distribution.
What they recruit: first position (in boys, goalies are prioritized), then stick skills both hands, speed/change of direction, IQ, versatility, and position stats: save % (goalie), face-off win % (FOGO), goals/assists (attack/midfield), caused turnovers (defense).

On your CV put: position, national-team/pathway selection, European results, club and a reference coach, position stats, and film links.
