In D1 (men and women), a coach may first contact you on June 15 after sophomore year. You may always reach out first.

In D1 soccer, a coach may first initiate personal contact on June 15 after your sophomore year (10th grade). Same date for men and women. That day unlocks calls, texts, DMs, emails, verbal offers and all recruiting materials.
Before that date the coach may not communicate directly with you, but you may always reach out first (or have your club/HS coach do it): send your CV, your video and your match schedule.

Soccer shares the June 15 date with golf, but not all sports do (basketball and football differ). What's specific to soccer: visits and off-campus contact open on August 1 of junior year, and its signing calendar and dead periods are tied to the fall season (College Cup).
